Stylz & Wells Are A, Product Of The Ghetto On New Single ft. Nipsey Hu$$le, Rezee & Just Liv

Stylz & Wells are back.  The duo, who has had significant success individually, decided it was time to return to their foundation.  Stylz (also known as rapper Styliztik Jones) and Wells (prod/rapper, J. Wells) have both had a hand in major hip-hop records the last several years ranging from Snoop Dogg to Ghostface Killah, Kurupt, and T.I. among several others.

After previously releasing the title track, Vibes ft. Too $hort, James DeBarge & Roscoe back in November and that the album would be released this January.  The albums release date has now been pushed back to March 13th, but the duo also revealing/premiering yesterday the very soulful and amazing latest single, Product of the Ghetto.  Which features the late great Nipsey Hu$$le (whose Victory Lap album was certified Platinum a couple of days ago), as well as former TDE artist Rezee.  Rezee himself also was a recent victim of gun violence when he was murdered in his hometown neighboring city Watts, California.  The very soulfully amazing hook delivered by R&B singer Just Liv.

Wells having the following to say about Nip and the record, “I met Nipsey around 2009 and we developed a relationship and stayed in touch over the years.  We collaborated in 2014 (“Supersonic Pulse”) and on the remix of the track a year or so later.  I ran into him in Atlanta in late 2018 and it was the last time we worked together and spoke.  I congratulated him on his Grammy nomination and he looked so full of life.  I’m very grateful to have been able to work with Nip, to be inspired by Nip, and I pray the song brings some motivation to all and some healing to his family.  RIP NIP.”

With Stylz also adding the following about Nip and the record, “This song is powerful, just like Nipsey.  It’s an honor to be a part of something so heartfelt.  Unfortunately, two of the artists that are featured on “Product Of The Ghetto” are no longer here in the physical.  They both left us too soon, but on the bright side, this song will be a small piece of the positive energy they left here for everybody.”
