Rising great R&B/Soul singer, Genia, is back today with her second EP, 4AM In The Ville, that follows her debut EP, 4PM In The Ville, she released last June. Which features six tracks including previously released singles Dear Life, Know! and the album’s opening track, Let Me Wander. That we used last month to highlight the Def Jam signee as our newest New Artist Spotlight feature.
To celebrate and coincide with the new EP’s release Genia also debuted through Vevo a brand new video for the EP’s newest single, Pretty Lies. Which sees the singer in a black top with blue jeans and black heels with a matching satin wrap scarf on an empty video set. That has just a bed and mini TV. As Genia over the hypnotic production so beautifully sings and performs on the set, as while as laying in the bed with a camcorder the heartbreaking, yet beautiful lyrics about a former love interest that kept telling her lies. Her uniquely passionate, yet smooth soulful vocals to go with her great style and performance of the record. Bringing the record even more to life and really showing what a truly great, as well as talented artist Genia is.
