It looks like Nipsey Hu$$le’s long-awaited and highly anticipated TM3: Victory Lap may finally be around the corner to actually dropping, as Neighborhood Nip drops his second track within a few days period with the 9th Wonder-produced Face The World. With a real solid soulfully banging production and sample from 9th, Nip puts all his emotions into the motivationally dope track that really shows off his great flow and delivery, as well as gives a real solid message to his listeners.
For his latest track in a minute while we wait for him to drop his solo album, Blanco, Chicago native Sir Michael Rocks along with fellow druggie emcees Ab-Soul and Da$h give us some dope raps over the thunderous hard hitting bass production of Mac Miller’s producing alter-ego Larry Fisherman on In a Minute. This track itself will not be on Banco, but Mikey’s While You Wait pre-album mixtape that currently has no release date.
Young Buck isn’t letting jail stop him from feeding the streets with that infectious street music he’s known for giving the streets and that’s exactly what he does on his latest track with Tha City Paper titled Everybody Got One. Driven by a haunting synth section that’s backed by some knocking street shaking drums, the haunting street anthem really let’s Buck and Paper show off their southern stylings and that great street storytelling stylings they’re known for over infectious southern bangers. It’s also the latest in Buck’s #FreeBuckFridays series leading to the release of his and Tha City Paper’s G.A.S. 2 street album on iTunes on Memorial Day.
Late last night RZA and Soul Temple Records decided to release this unreleased gem from the personal vaults of the RZA with Wu-Tang Clan’s Execution In Autumn. The track features Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, RZA and U-God keeping their lyrical swords sharp as ever over the dope drums and high hates of the gritty and very live soul-bases Frank Dukes production. For those who are interested they are also offering the record as a 7″ 45 rpm Vinyl and a “pay what you feel” digital download until May 31st as a customer-appreciation offering. There is no word yet if it will be included on the Clan’s upcoming 20th-year anniversary album, A Better Tomorrow, which has a tentative July release date.
Up and coming Westcoast emcee and South Centralz own Dubb shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon, as another week comes where he gives us a new single with the very smooth Game Spitter that features the infectious drums and production of fellow Cali native Ty Dolla $ign. The very smooth track that also features a floating very melodic and inspiring backdrop has Dubb spitting heartfelt inspiring rhymes that really shows off his great lyrical abilities and why he’s not only one of the best emcees from the West, but period in Hip-Hop right now and one of my personal favorites. Dubb really doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon and plans on making this year his for the taking, as you can expect a new mixtape, Q. White, from him this summer only months after he dropped his most recent project with the Black Box EP via iTunes.
