Joyner Lucas Debuts Cinematically Powerful & Transparent New Video, For Powerfully Personal & Transparent New Single, Best For Me feat. Jelly Roll

With just mere days till the release of his long-awaited and highly-anticipated new solo album, Not Now I’m Busy, which will be released on this Friday, March 22nd. Joyner Lucas returns today with his powerfully personal and transparent newest single, Best For Me. That features Jelly Roll and sees Joyner so beautifully rapping about both his perspective and his friend’s perspective on his friend’s struggles with an addiction to drugs. This new single also following his very stellar prior single, Sticks & Stones, he released in collaboration with Conway the Machine at the beginning of the month.

If that wasn’t enough Joyner also debuted just a few short hours ago, a cinematically powerful and transparent new self-directed video for the record. That sees the Grammy-nominated rapper processing the death of a friend, who he raps about in the record, but doesn’t name. It showing how Lucas remembers how everything heartbreakingly played out with his friend who had been struggling with an addiction to drugs and overdosed himself to a heart-wrenchingly sad death. Jelly Roll, whose very dynamically great vocals and chorus, are featured on the record, also appearing in the cinematically powerful and transparent new visual. That amplifies and brings the heart-wrenchingly transparent and much needed message of the record even more to life.
