Lollapalooza Announces Lollapalooza 2019 Lineup, Headlined By Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, 21 Pilots & The Chainsmokers, With Janelle Monáe, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill Among Other Notables

Early this morning Lollapalooza announced its annual lineup for this year’s Lollapalooza 2019.  Which is headlined by Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, 21 Pilots, The Strokes and The Chainsmokers. The lineup for the four-day festival, which runs from Aug. 1st-4th in Chicago’s world-famous Grant Park, was announced just a day after tickets went on-sale for what’s usually always one of the most anticipated summer festivals of the summer festival season and especially here in Chicago.

This years lineup while not as great as last year’s is still a somewhat solid one.  With such greats as Janelle Monáe (who could’ve easily been a headliner herself), Lil Wayne, Meek Mill and Gary Clark Jr., also all part of the just earlier today revealed lineup.  Really most almost any of those names could’ve been headliners too.  Probably Monáe the most notable, who should’ve really been one of this year’s headliners.

Besides those already mentioned headliners above and the other ones noted above, some other notable names include rising and/or on the verge stars such as H.E.R., 6LACK, Sheck Wes, J.I.D, Normani and Tierra Whack.

Some of Chicago’s very own great new upcomers such as Saba and Smino are highlighted as well in their hometown for that weekend.  Though there is also not as big a representation of homegrown Chicago acts as in years past and especially on the Hip-Hop side of things.  Where there has been a huge representation in years past from the likes of such homegrown Chicago Hip-Hop acts as Chance The Rapper, G Herbo, Valee, Chance’s brother Taylor Bennett and a few others.

All that said you haven’t yet and are still trying to, be sure to cop tickets for 4-day passes here. The schedule for the full lineup is on the flyer towards the top.
