Anderson .Paak recently announced a new tour for this Spring and also a new album, Ventura, that will be dropping on April 12th and just a few weeks after that announcement he drops the lead single, King James.
This new record departing from the mostly rapping aspect of his last album, Oxnard, he dropped back in the Fall of last year. His newest single finds him going back to his signature soulfully funky and groovy sound that made me and so many other huge fans.
Giving you that infectiously funky and groovy feel-good sound that is just right for the Summer and is an early candidate for Song of the Summer months before we even reach Summer. It’s sure to make most everyone want to get their funk and groove on dancing for a feel-good time at many a parties this Summer and for years to come.
Anderson once again showing with his great versatility why he’s easily one of the best artists and musicians of this generation. Who’s already a living legend that has transcended music as a whole in such a short amount of time and will be remembered for generations to come.
The message he delivers that many may not immediately catch making him that much greater of an artist too. Which hopefully makes a few listen even more carefully to catch.
