Saba & No I.D. Debut New Video/Single, Back In Office

Chicago emcee Saba is back with a brand new single. Appropriately titled, Back In Office. After a long-hiatus from releasing new music and his first new music released here in 2023. The new track finds Saba connecting with living legend and Chicago Hip-Hop pioneer, No I.D.

The Chicago titans also debuting an accompanying Ian Lipton-directed video. Alongside the track. Which sees Saba over several backdrops ranging from red to black and grey of a video set and fisheye lens shots. Rapping his stellar and several quotable bars. Such as, ”This feel like Draino to y’all faucets. Superhero, this my negro solstice flow. They hear my sh*t and then adopt it like a foster home.” As well as, ”I’m from Chicago. We invented Mobsters. Some call me Saba, others call me Saba. As long as it’s love. It’s not a problem. I fillet a voyeur, like I’m Oscar De Le Hoya.”

The cinematically simple, yet stripped-down visuals. Also bringing those lyrics from Saba over No I.D.’s simmering throwback production with bluesy guitar and lush strings. Even more into focus for the listener and audience too.
