Earlier this week, Los Angeles emcee, Demrick, announced that he will be dropping a new EP with award nominated and chart-topping production duo, Mike & Keys. Entitled, Championship Rounds.
The new six track EP will be released sometime this year and follows Demrick’s most recent solo album, PAYDAY. Which he dropped back in February and was all produced by Reezy. Though no details on an actual release date were given. Demrick did announce he would be dropping the first single from the EP on Thursday.
So today as we reach Thursday, the Westcoast based emcee comes through and delivers the very smooth and chill lead single, Don’t Look Down. The very piano, drums and other very instruments infused production from Mike & Keyd. Perfect to compliment Demrick’s very smooth rhymes about all the real situations he and his family had to go through to get to where he’s now. That makes him just as part of the very smooth chorus from Kay Franklin says not want to, “look down.” From how far he has come.
