Freddie Gibbs & Madlib Debut Cinematic New Mini-Movie For, Half Manne Half Cocaine

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib dropped what’s still the Hip-Hop/Rap Album of the Year so far with Bandana earlier this Summer.  Still promoting the album, the duo return today with the debut of their cinematic new mini-movie like Nick Walker-directed visual for, Half Manne Half Cocaine.  One of the most standout tracks on the album, it opens with Gibbs waking up from coma in the year 2029.  With his doctor played by Eric Andre the first to see him in the hospital bed, he tells him what has happened in the world since than and gives him a bag of artillery.  So Gibbs can get dressed in his war gear, check out the hospital to head to the desert to seek revenge and confront the man who gave him the injuries.  It’s a pretty entertaining visual that plays more like a mini-movie or short film rather than an actual music video that you have to see to believe.
