Mykestro Is Proud To Pay Homage On New Single, Dedicated To Nipsey Hu$$le

Surprisingly since his untimely and tragic passing back on March 31st not many emcees or rappers have released tracks dedicated to Nipsey Hu$$le.  Most deciding to pay homage with their memories at his homegoing or through other mediums, fellow Los Angeles emcee, Mykestro, decides to pay homage to Nipsey on his newest single.  The appropriately titled, Proud To Pay Homage, which finds the fellow L.A. emcee over the classic boom-bap backed production of DJ Battlecat, spitting serious bars paying homage to Neighborhood Nip.

Mykestro spits bars that let everyone know that even over a month after his untimely passing that Nipsey’s death has still affected the community of L.A. and especially the inner cities where he grew up.  The pain of it you can still feel pouring in the streets and will last for many like him, myself, Nip’s brother and family and so many others for awhile.

“Had my feeling like life is at a stand still.  I lost my brother too.  I know how Blacc Sam feel.  I know how Cobby, JStone and Pacman feel.  I told Dom to stay strong.”  Among the standout bars showing how Mykestro knows it affected himself and so many others.
