G Perico, Jay Worthy & Cardo Are “G-Worthy”, Announce Debut Album, Never Miss, Via Fools Gold, Drop First Single

A new Westcoast group has been formed by two of Los Angeles biggest rising Hip-Hop stars, G-Perico and Jay Worthy.  The duo of Perico and Worthy, which have steadily risen among L.A.’s core Gangsta Rap following, have teamed up with producer extraordinaire Cardo, to form G-Worthy.

A new group looking to carry on L.A.’s storied G-Funk sound with Cardo.  What’s arguably the biggest westside connection this year will be dropping their debut album, Never Miss via the legendary Fool’s Gold record label.

The first single, which is also the title track dropped earlier today and is best described by Cardo as, “late night mobbin music.”  A very, to the core Gangsta Rap record, which is to be played while cruising the city to authentic loc’d out vibes.

It’s a full-circle moment for Cardo too.  As Fool’s Gold released the now living in Los Angeles, but Texas via way of Minnesota acclaimed producers first instrumental EP in 2012.  Seeing how much he has grown since than and working with the likes of everybody from Kanye West to Kendrick Lamar and Travi$ Scott, it will be interesting to see what he has cooked up for this amazing new group.  Which if it sounds anything like this first single, could be a real problem for the rest of these fake rappers out here and bringing back that true real core Gangsta Rap sound.
