Rapsody Announces Major Label Roc Nation Debut, Laila’s Wisdom, Drops First Single, You Should Know feat. Busta Rhymes

You should know that Rapsody is one of the illest lyricists and emcees, male or female, out today and she shows it yet again on her soulful latest single, You Should Know featuring Busta Rhymes.  The lead single, off of Rap’s upcoming JamRoc major label debut album, Leila’s Wisdom, which she announced yesterday, the new single finds her spitting bars over the soulful keys, guitar strings and other instrumentations of the soulful production and showing and proving why she’s one of the illest lyricists, as well as emcees out.

A track she shows she can hold well on her own, but that legendary emcee, Busta Rhymes, adds a not to shabby guest verse on.  Which you can hear below.

The new track, which is just the latest great one, Rap has dropped since she signed to Roc Nation, last year on a joint venture deal with her longtime producer, 9th Wonder’s Jamla Records to form JamRoc.  This should hopefully hold fans over till the albums expected release date of Sept. 22nd and give fans enough time to digest the wisdom, lyrically dropped by Rap on this one.  Which I’m sure is just only a taste of the lyrically great knowledge and  gems of wisdom, expected to be sprinkled all over, Leila’s Wisdom.
