New Video SZA – Drew Barrymore

Riding off her recent high of just opening at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, the other day for her debut album, CTRL, TDE First Lady, SZA finally gives us the long-awaited and highly-anticipated new Dave Meyers-directed video for her single, Drew Barrymore.

In the new fun-filled visual, which was premiered through Vevo earlier today, the TDE singer/songwriter really brings the somber tone of the record to life.  As she gives us a day in the life-type look at what a promo day in NYC looks like for her, as she goes from tomboy to sexy throughout.

Showing off how fun things can be with her friends while playing in the snow, at a house party or even doing a small choreographed scene in a subway.  While also showing how somber and lonely they can get and have her questioning herself, as she gets naked by herself in a laundromat or just getting high by herself.  A cameo that most probably never thought would come about even happens and makes the visual even that more of a must-watch to see how it really truly does bring this amazing record to life in that aspect and just period.
