New Video Big Boi – Mic Jack feat. Adam Levine

One of the originator’s of the funk rap scene Big Boi is getting ready to drop his highly-anticipated next solo album, Boomiverse and after announcing yesterday its release date, June 16th, late last night/early this morning through Vevo he premiered the new Motion Family-directed video for one of the two new singles he recently dropped.  With the Adam Levine-assisted funky feel-good, partially Michael Jackson-inspired, Mic Jack.

You can say it was a pretty big Tuesday for one-half of the legendary Outkast duo, as he not only announced the albums release date and premiered the Mic Jack video, but he also performed the very catchy DJ Dahi & DJ Khalil co-produced record featuring Levine, on The Voice as well.

The very fun and entertaining visual, which you can watch above really bringing the record to life.  As Big has what appears to be any normal trip to the dry-cleaners to pick up a suit, only for it to be anything but that.  As the ATLien has a trippy out of this world space-out where he dreams of literally going to outer space.

Like most Big Boi, Andre 300 or Outlast related videos, it’s a very funny and entertaining visual, which really brings the crazy fun funky feel-good vibe of the record to life, so much so that it makes you want to actually get up to dance and have a funky, feel-good vibe time of your own.
