20 Years After His Death, It’s Still All Eyez on 2Pac In New Biopic Trailer

Today marks a seminal moment in not only Rap and Hip-Hop history, but music history period with the 20th anniversary of the untimely death of one of the greatest emcees and actors to ever live, Westcoast and Hip-Hop legend Tupac Shakur.  With it being such a bittersweet moment today in Hip-Hop, as fans worldwide both celebrate and mourn his passing, director Benny Boom decided to mark this occasion that was such a turning point for the culture for so many people in a positive way.  As earlier today the director of the upcoming highly anticipated Tupac biopic, All Eyez On Me, Benny Boom, took to his Instagram to give us the second look trailer we have at the upcoming movie.  With the first trailer being premiered back in June, on what would’ve been 2Pac’s 45th birthday.  Starring Demetrius Shipp Jr. (who played Tupac in last year’s critically acclaimed Straight Outta Compton biopic) reprising his role as the late great entertainer, and Danai Gurira as his ironically recently passed mother, Afeni Shakur, this newest snippet shows more of Pac’s life, from his experience with former Vice President Dan Quayle to getting shot multiple times and his final ride with Suge Knight among many things.  Previously having a rumored Nov. 11th release date, the film no longer has one and just says “coming soon” in the newest trailer.  Watch below to mark the 20th anniversary of Pac’s tragic passing.
