Me & You, that’s all that Los Angeles singer/songwriter Mila J declares she wants it to be between her and her man’s love on her latest record, Me & You. A new song that she released last night in the wee hour’s of Valentine’s Day to get in on the V-Day festivities and comes on the heels of her very sexy co-starring role in super producer Timbaland’s latest steamy song/video for Don’t Get No Betta. The sultry new I. Rich-produced record is a partial cover of Tony! Toni! Toné!’s 1991 classic record, Just Me and You, from the Boyz n the Hood soundtrack and like most of Mila’s New Year’s Eve released project Covergirl (where she covers a lot of classic 90’s R&B records) shows why the very talented and beautiful L.A. native could have easily fit into the classic Golden Era of R&B/Soul that was being released in the 90’s. Take a listen below and let me know if you agree with her updated version of the record being good enough to have also easily fit Mila into the classic L.A. R&B/Soul scene of the late 80’s and early 90’s?
