Chicago emcee, G Herbo, released his biggest solo album to date last year with the mostly critically-acclaimed, 25. Looking to top that the Chicago emcee returns this year with his, Survivor’s Remorse. That is broken down into a double album of Side A and Side B.
Herbo releasing the blockbuster Survivor’s A Side today that is 12 tracks and features a sure to be certified hit, Flashbacks with fellow Chicago heavyweight, Jeremih. As well as features from Benny the Butcher, Future, Offset and Gunna. Plus Herbo’s son, Yosohn. With the Guilt B Side set to be released in a few more days on, Oct. 10th.
To celebrate the album’s release Herbo also debuted the cinematic and deeply personal Kevin Mares-directed video. To the just as intensely personal and lyrically potent opening track, FWM featuring Yosohn. That was shot in Herbo’s hometown of Chicago and has footage of him performing and headlining the first ever Bulls Fest last month. As well as enjoying his time at a club in Chicago with his crew and having intensely personal moments with his son, Yosohn via FaceTime from his hotel room.
