Cordae Debuts New Video/Single, Saturday Mornings feat. Lil Wayne

Cordae is taking things to new heights lyrically and emceeing with his just dropped new single, Saturday Mornings. That finds the 3x GRAMMY® Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning emcee over the soulful Boogz-produced track featuring Lil Wayne. Showing why he’s easily one of the best emcees and lyricists of his generation then can hold his own with such legends as Wayne. As he spits such standout bars as, “My penmanship what ya pay me. It’s time to get the bacon, this s**t is biscuits and gravy. Time to break fast. To keep it real, how long the fake last? New year, same goals, stay out the way and make cash.” While Wayne adds such standout bars as, “I’m a goat, n***a, you a sacrificial lamb. You a teddy bear, n***a, you a Teddy Graham. You sweet as jelly jam, honey glazed deli ham. Bubblegum candy yams, my gun never jam. I got a heavy hand, but hold it like a steady cam. Am I talking to the martians when I pray, man? I need to know is there a heaven or just Space Jam? And it’s Saturday morning everyday, man. Young Carter and Cordae, man. All day, man.”

Cordae and Wayne also debuting through Vevo alongside the single. A brand new APLUS FILMZ-directed accompanying video. Which opens with a kid with a bowl of cereal getting up to turn on the TV. That then shows footage of Cordae performing and then sees the kid sit down as the new video starts playing on the TV. Which then sees Cordae and Wayne outside of an abandoned building spitting their stellar verses that also shows the undeniably great chemistry the two emcees have together. Footage of Cordae in the locker room of an arena recording the track and playing chess. As well as footage of Wayne with his entourage getting ready to go onstage from backstage for a performance and Cordae and Wayne in front of a white screen shooting the video. While Wayne holds a guitar. Also shown throughout the very cinematically well shot new video.
