One of mine and several others favorite artist at the moment happens to be very talented Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter, Elijah Blake. Adding to the list of mine and a few of the other HHD staff favorite artists that dropped new albums, singles and/or videos on this Friday Aug. 30th, is Blake with the premiere earlier today through Vevo of his very vulnerable new Sean Alexander-directed video for, To Be Loved.
The simple, yet creative and conceptually great themed new visual finds the singer showing all the vulnerable ways one can be loved. Whether it be fully clothed or dressed down to just socks and slacks. Blake being in the latter throughout most of the beautiful new clip that shows him laying out his all like he does most of his music. The new visual really bringing this already beautifully amazing record to life.
Taken from Blake’s Bijoux 23 EP, which he dropped last year. This is a very vulnerably heartfelt record about seeking to be loved, only to find out there’s an absent woman who’s hesitant to move forward. The very beautifully vulnerable new visual sure to give fans and supporters alike, yet another reason why they love Elijah.
