Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter, Elle Varner, is back and better than ever with her new EP, Ellevation. Her first new project since she dropped her very classic and timeless debut album, Perfectly Imperfect, nearly seven years ago. The singer today in conjunction with the release of the new EP, debuts through Vevo the new Damien Sandoval-directed video for, Kinda Love.
Though not as great as the video for her last single, Pour Me, that she debuted the visual for nearly four months ago, it’s still a pretty solid visual. Which finds Elle in a warehouse slow winding around for some choreographed dance moves with dancers, as she shows off her gruff, yet still beautifully signature standout vocals. As she sings the very catchy chorus about letting others know what kinda love she wants to help elevate her to be a better person and lover. Channeling classic R&B videos from the likes of legendary R&B/Soul singers as Janet Jackson and the late great, Aaliyah, the very beautifully gorgeous and talented singer shows off her very thick and sexy figure in the visual that shows why she’s not only one of the best R&B/Soul singers out right now, but also easily one of the most beautifully gorgeous women in the world. Still it feels like something is missing though and why I can see why many think it could’ve had a way better treatment and visual to really truly bring the record to life in the way that Elle was able to with the video for Pour Me.
