Tech N9ne Takes It Back Old School In New Video, Don’t Nobody Want None, Announces New Album, Planet

With the recent announcement of his 2018 Planet Tour, Hip-Hop Independent Heavyweight, Tech N9ne announced earlier today the coinciding 12th solo album and 20th overall album of his career, Planet, which the tour is named after.  Also releasing the new video/lead single, Don’t Nobody Want None, from the album via an exclusive premiere through Complex.  Which sees Tech take it back old-school to his b-boy origins in his homage to Hashim’s seminal 1983 electro-funk classic, Al-Naafiysh (The Soul), it features plenty of b-boy appropriate era moves.

Tech having the following to say in a statement to Complex about the new track/video, “It’s an honor to be able to re-do ‘Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)’ on this album to pay homage to all the breakdancers and all the DJs, all the dance crews.  That’s me.  I started out break dancing and pop-lockin.  Then I started rhyming and then rapping just took over.  I never forgot where I started though.”
