Westcoast emcee Nipsey Hu$$le keeps the heat coming to get the new school/work week started right with his latest #MarathonMondays track State Of Mind. Another Westcoast banger, that finds Neighborhood Nip giving us his state of mind over yet another Mike & Keys production, as they give him one of the best beats of 2016 with the G-Funk inspired backdrop that has that swerving synth and dynamic bass line that has you questioning why Nip didn’t save it for his Victory Lap album. Nip also brings along his homie Y2 for a feature on the track and one of the only downfalls of it all is that there was only one verse each from both emcees. All that said, it was still the straight heat we have come to expect from the Crenshaw native every Monday of 2016 since he started the series nearly four months ago and you can listen to below.
