RANNA & KXNG CROOKED Deliver Plenty Of Wordplay, In Eye-Popping New Video, WORDPLAY

For those who have truly followed legendary emcee, KXNG CROOKED’s career. They would know that Crooked doesn’t just hop on anybody’s track for a feature unless he really appreciates the art and emceeing of said artist. Such is the case once again with his latest feature. For Los Angeles-bred emcee and artist, RANNA ROYCE. On her lyrical mastery wordplay new single, WORDPLAY. That was released just last Friday.

Today nearly a half a week later, RANNA and Crook. Debuting just a few short hours ago through Uproxx the new IZZY-directed accompanying video for the track. That opens with a row of children’s letter blocks. Before the lyrics start flashing throughout the eye-popping new visual. Just like a lyric video or the old pop-up videos. As both emcees deliver their high-energy and lyrically energetic insane performances.

This isn’t the first time both artists have collaborated either. As both previously have worked together on frequent collaborator, Smith & Hay’s singles, Homewrecker and, A Party Going On. When RANNA went by Ranna Royce and mostly did production/songwriting alongside the production duo of, Smith & Hay (formerly known as Mike Smith & Jonathan Hay). Which is kind of ironic. Since KXNG CROOKED used to go by Crooked I before changing his name around that same time.

So well RANNA is an upcoming artist coming out of L.A. She isn’t exactly brand new and why it should be no surprise to see her and Crooked working together once again. It’s also nice to see her finally putting out her own solo material. This new video and single, the perfect true launching point into being an actual solo artist and emcee.
