BMF & Big Meech Film Coming Soon

Were you unfamiliar with that “Big Meech” guy who Rick Ross thought he was on the song Blowin’ Money Fast (BMF),” don’t worry, Program Pictures plans to explain who Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his Black Mafia Family are and what they were all about. The company has acquired the motion picture rights to the story of the Detroit-based drug-trafficking empire created by “Big Meech”, who entered the hip-hop music scene through BMF Entertainment.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Program’s L.T. Hutton will produce with Morgan Creek’s David Robinson. Both are also producing the Tupac Shakur , which will be directed by Antoine Fuqua and starts production later this year.

“We have a passion and enthusiasm in bringing Big Meech’s story to the big screen,” commented Hutton. “We’re working closely with Meech and Tammy Cowins to make sure every aspect of the story is done correctly. Over the upcoming months, we’ll be working on getting a script together so we can begin filming as early as next year.”
