LL Cool J Debuts New Black-and-White Video For New Single, Saturday Night Special feat. Rick Ross & Fat Joe

Living legend and icon, as well as Hip-Hop pioneer, LL Cool J, is getting set to finally release his highly-anticipated new Q-Tip-produced album, The Force, this year. Given us the first taste of the new album with his very cinematically dope new single, Saturday Night Special featuring Rick Ross and Fat Joe.

LL along with Ross and Joe also debuting through Vevo a brand new JakeTheShooter-directed video for the record. That is also a black-and-white visual which sees them all performing in front of a Maybach and by themselves. In a backdrop that is very reminiscent of the classic Craig Mack – Flava In Ya Ear Remix video too. As they bring those classic elements back while performing their stellar rhymes from the track. That LL kicks off with bars such as, ”So many different hustlers you meet in the game. Shit is cold, don’t put your trust in ’em, let me explain. The greedy killer, he wanna fvck hoes and get the money. But he quick to feel disrespected. One slip of the tongue, wrong words selected. Bullets drillin’ in your melon when you least expect it.” That lets you know with this newest album that the Queens rep is really out to prove why he is one of the greatest emcees of all-time and why he loves this culture of Hip-Hop so much. Plus why before anyone else laid claim to it over its storied now 50-plus year history. He is where the term the, ”GOAT” originated in Hip-Hop.

Overall it is really solid and banging track. That Ross also added a pretty solid verse right before LL added a second verse and Joe closed out the track out with such dope raps as, ”Always keep it real, always like crack. ’Bout kicks I can teach ya. Just blew a mini mason in Atlanta on some sneakers. I brought the purses to the Verzuz. Been bodyin’ shit, big boy hearses. Stain careers like windows in the churches.” The Caravan sample and beat from Q-Tip absolutely insane and just perfect to show how a dope instrumental/beat can really take a track and emcees rhymes to another level too.
