Chance The Rapper Debuts Fun Feel-Good New Video, Ride Remix feat. Do or Die & Twista

Chance the Rapper continues the high vibrations with the remix for his new single, Ride featuring Chicago Hip-Hop legends and pioneers, Do or Die and Twista. The original version from the Chicago rapper featured on his newest album, STAR LINE, he released nearly two months ago and only featured, Do or Die. Chance adding fellow Westside Chicago Hip-Hop hero, Twista, to this remix of the track that was also released around that time. Which he returns to today with the long-awaited and highly-anticipated accompanying video for the record that was debuted earlier today.

The fun and feel-good new accompanying video for the remix shot in Chance, Do or Die and Twista’s hometown of Chicago and much of it in the Avalon Park neighborhood. Is a celebration of all things past and present that make Chicago Hip-Hop so great and monumental. Which sees Chance with a beautiful young woman riding around the city and outside of the world famous Ramova Theatre as a party with all bunch of the city goes down. The world famous George Daniels and Chance’s brother, Taylor Benett, making cameos. Chance and Do or Die also riding around to different other city landmarks like the Chicago Field Museum of Natural History, the iconic Pride Cleaners on 79th Street and past downtown and other neighborhoods in the city where large crowds follow them. Other Chicago emcees like Shawnna and Lstreetz, as well as Chicago figures like newscaster, Val Warner, also making cameos and one other unexpected non Chicago connection making a cameo towards the end of the video. Chance the Rapper, Do or Die and Twista, as well as the other countless thousands of people in the video. Looking like they had a really fun and feel-good time while Chance and Do or Die sing and rap the very catchy and fun feel-good hook along with their pretty solid raps. Twista in his classic Pelle Pelle jacket decades later while rapping his standout guest verse. Really help bring the fun and feel-good nature of the remix even more to life through the very fun and feel-good video. That is also a truly great tribute to the rich and diverse multi-generational great history and community pride of not only the city that raised Chance the Rapper, but its great influence in not only Chicago Hip-Hop, but all the multi-cultural great music to come from Chicago. The video and remix also showing the major influence Chicago Hip-Hop has over several generations when they actually work together too.
