Chicago singer and songwriter Jean Deaux is readying the release of her highly-anticipated second EP, Empathy, a week from today on June 14th and to hold fans over, earlier today she released the projects very sweet and Summer ready new single, Anytime.
A record that over the sweet and gentle guitar strings backdrop of the ROMderful production, finds Jean and Kehlani singing about their lovers being able to get their love quite appropriately, anytime, as the title suggests. Given a mix of spoken word and singing on how they would do so. The very sweet and gently smooth record is also one of those ones you can play cruising down Lake Shore Drive in your car during the Summertime here in Chicago.
Set to be seven tracks with features from DUCKWRTH and Terrace Martin as well. If this is just a taste of what to expect from the project, it has definitely set the tone off right and raised the already high expectations even higher.
