As we inch closer to the Aug. 15th release date of emcee and producer, Evidence’s latest highly-anticipated solo album, Unlearning Vol. 2. The Venice Beach native, who is one of the best producer emcees to ever touch a mic gives us yet another taste and preview of the album with his brand new QThree-produced single, Dutch Angle. That is the closing track and already fifth track he has released from the album following Nothing To See Here, Different Phases, Outta Bounds and more recently The Alchemist featured, Rain Every Season.
Evidence also along with the single debuting earlier today a very beautifully cinematic new Stephen Vanasco-directed accompanying video. That like almost all of Evidence’s video’s follows the rain and/or weather theme and is perfectly artistically shot. Really helping bring his stellar rhymes of, “From a Dutch angle leanin’, I’m even ’til I’m tilted. Sick of dreaming blueprints, schemin’ ’til I built it. My thoughts when they’re unfiltered. When it count, it’s when I killed it. The high is short, the flower’s givin’ wilted. Reset button-pusher, startin’ over is the funnest part. When it’s bright to me, it’s summers dark. So many songs, can’t tell some apart. It’s like the more you advance, you runnin’ from the spark.” Even more to life. Truly showing what a great artist, poet and emcee that Evidence is and how great his newest album is really shaping up to be.
