Mobb Deep Releases Highly-Anticipated New Album, Infinite, Debuts Cinematically Nostalgic New Video, Down For You feat. Nas & Jorja Smith

Legendary and iconic Hip-Hop group, Mobb Deep, returns today with their long-awaited and highly-anticipated new album, Infinite. The group’s first album in 11 years and since the tragic passing of member, Prodigy, in June 2017. Featuring 15 tracks and previously released singles, Taj Mahal and Against The World. The new album is all produced by Havoc and longtime friend, as well as collaborator, The Alchemist. With features from the likes of fellow iconic Queensbridge-bred emcee Nas, fellow Hip-Hop icons Ghostface Killah & Raekwon, and Clipse, as well as longtime collaborator Big Noyd. Not to mention two unexpected features from Jorja Smith and H.E.R. to round things out. The new album fuses new verses from Havoc with never before released posthumous raps from Prodigy as well. Infinite is also the latest release from not only Mobb Deep, but the latest in Nas and Mass Appeal’s, Legend Has It, campaign. That has already saw releases from iconic artists Slick Rick, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah and is expected to still have a posthumous release from Big L and a new album from De La Soul and Nas & DJ Premier’s long-awaited and highly-anticipated collaboration album to round things out.

Mobb Deep celebrating the album’s release by debuting just a few short hours ago through Vevo. A brand new accompanying video for one of the album’s most standout tracks, Down For You featuring Nas and Jorja Smith. The cinematic new clip seeing Havoc and Nas pulling up in a classic black Mercedes-Benz SUV to a shore overlooking the very timeless and nostalgic New York City skyline in the distance. Clips of a beautiful nurse helping old elderly sick people in a messed up QB nursing facility showing her dedication to her purpose just the way that Prodigy, Nas and Havoc’s nostalgically timeless verses show their own dedication to their career as emcees and lyricist’s. Not to mention Hav’s dedication to his production as well and Jorja Smith’s very beautifully soulful angelic voice and chorus helping elevate the track even more. The very cinematically nostalgic video that also sees Havoc on the subway train that the nurse rides in home with a partial clip of Prodigy rapping his nostalgically timeless verses on the track. Plus the video ending with Nas, Havoc and Jorja Smith together on the pier shoreline as Jorja sings the beautifully soulful and nostalgically timeless outro chorus. Really helping bring the very timelessly nostalgic and cinematic feel of this Mobb Deep collaboration with Nas and Jorja Smith even more to life.
