Snow Tha Product continues to show why she is not only one of the greatest female emcees of all-time, but truly among the most talented emcees that is a truly genius artist as well that doesn’t always get her just dues as such. Her vulnerable honest new DJ Pumba & IamDavid co-produced single, She Wasnt Home. A very honest and transparently vulnerable track where Snow raps about some of her most private abusive relationships she experienced in her home and was told to let go of. A truly heartbreaking, but heartfelt message for so many young girls and just people in general who experience different abuses they are told to stay silent about. I am glad Snow Tha Product was able to open up in this way and let some of these secrets and traumas be released to help her heal from them. That can also hopefully help encourage others who are going through or have gone through similar types of situations they can unfortunately relate to. Eventually open up to release those demons they have experienced as well.
The cinematically vulnerable Woke Productions-directed video. That sees Snow Tha Product in the bathroom by herself sitting on top of the sink, by her lonesome sitting on top of a dresser in her room and finally sitting by herself in the couch of her empty front room. As she raps the vulnerable honest lyrics of, “I used to know what home feels like. Now I feel uneasy. So I just hide in the bathroom so no one sees me. I tried to tell her one day, but she didn’t believe me. So now there is glass on the floor and I am fvcking bleeding. I didn’t ask for what I got. These circumstances. My mom believed that all men deserve second chances. She wasn’t home.” That hit even harder when you see Snow Tha Product actually sitting by her lonesome on top of the sink in the bathroom.
