Danger Mouse & Black Thought Debut New Black-and-White Video, For New Single, Up with Rag’n’Bone Man

Days after teasing new material and a little over three years after releasing their critically-acclaimed debut collaboration album, Cheat Codes. Danger Mouse & Black Thought have released their very beautifully powerful new single and first music together since then with, Up. That features Rag’n’Bone Man and shows the undeniable chemistry that Danger Mouse & Black Thought still have together. Danger Mouse’s very soulfully beautiful production the perfect complement to let Black Thought spit his stellar rhymes of, “I’ve seen the culture decline while we were all in denial and seen a murderer smile as he was brought into trial. I’ve watched a vulture circle awaiting the fall of a child and canines devoured alive. The call of the wild. I couldn’t accept the charge for the call of the void or for progress destroyed over Darwin and Freud.” That shows once again why Black Thought is easily among the best emcees and lyricist’s to ever touch a mic. Rag’n’Bone Man’s beautifully powerful hook really elevating the track to even greater heights to make it such a good record too.

Danger Mouse & Black Thought also debuting a new black-and-white video alongside the new single. That has clips on several TVs of Black Thought performing his stellar verses and Rag’n’Bone Man performing the beautifully powerful hook. Other powerful images playing on those TVs that really helps the beautifully powerful message and lyrics from the new Danger Mouse & Black Thought single be brought even more to life.

The new single likely off a Cheat Codes sequel album from Danger Mouse & Black Thought. That many of us fans will really be highly anticipating and especially if it’s anywhere near as a masterpiece as Cheat Codes is. Which this beautifully powerful new single, Up, is a great start to that.
