Nearly a week and a half after Reuben Vincent & 9th Wonder dropped their video for their latest single, Gotta Get It. That is the from the duo’s upcoming highly-anticipated collaboration album coming soon. Reuben Vincent & 9th Wonder return today with the debut earlier of another new Keilan Alexander-directed video for, Queen City. That is the B-Side to the Gotta Get It single that they released at the beginning of the month.

The nostalgic and crisp new video finding Reuben Vincent over a NBA Draft Day grey photo backdrop with a Charlotte Hornets Draft Day hat and in a suit like he was being drafted. Also taking questions from reporters over a black-and-white backdrop while over the very soulfully nostalgic 9th Wonder production he raps his very reflective and nostalgic bars such as, “In the city of queens, where kings made. Ain’t shit sweet, n***as need cream. I ain’t talkin’ ’bout the flame when I say that they fiends. I ain’t talkin’ ’bout Hakeem. N***as blocking they dreams. I was on Kenneth McGriff time, selling Supreme at 17. Tryna make income off streams. Paid off loose leaf. Just to get y’all to wake up, I lose sleep. Shit, I ain’t even woke but they say I’m too deep. And how, when I’m scratchin’ the surface? Carry more verses than the women that’s in the churches. But I ain’t preachin’ to you, I’m far from perfect. Heal like Seal but show off the scars, ain’t worth it.” The reflective bars brought to life even more through the crisp and nostalgic video that once again shows why Reuben Vincent is one of the most talented and brightest young emcees and lyricist’s in all of Hip-Hop right now too.
