UMI Debuts Beautifully Fun, Sweet & Carefree Video, For New Single, MANGO STICKY RICE

Nearly a week after ascending R&B star, UMI, released her highly-anticipated and critically-acclaimed debut Epic Records album, people stories. She is already back with her sixth new video from the album. That she debuted through Vevo just a few short hours ago with the Joseph Collier and UMI co-directed video for the album’s best track, MANGO STICKY RICE.

The video for the very simple, yet beautifully fun, sweet and carefree V Ron-produced record shot on a recent trip and small tour that UMI had to her original motherland of Tokyo, Japan. That sees UMI and V Ron just sitting under umbrellas in a park playing the very simple, yet memorable tune/chords of the chorus on their guitars. The video also seeing UMI just having a carefree fun time dancing around the park and streets of Tokyo as she sings the beautifully carefree and fun sweet chorus and melody. The video also seeing her by herself on a bus and in a club at a party with friends singing it as well. The beautifully sweet carefree nature of the song brought to life even more with the just as carefree, sweet and beautiful fun nature of the video that both Jason and UMI were really able to capture of UMI throughout the video.
