The single a very beautifully emotional touching guitar-driven record about a love Elijah doesn’t want to leave, but he does and he compares the bitterness of letting it go to when you have a hard drink like “white rum.” As he so beautifully sings, “Don’t wanna leave. But don’t wanna see you lovin’ on anybody. If it’s not me. We don’t want to stay. We don’t want like the taste. It’s a bitter pill to swallow. So you chase it with a hard drink.
