Wu-Tang Clan brought da ruckus to Chicago with their legendary Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber Tour show at Chicago’s famed United Center on Monday July 7, 2025. Showing and proving with their performance one final time together on stage for this final tour and why for over 30 years they are still the greatest Hip-Hop group of all-time, as well as one of the best groups or live performers in music ever. Fans new and old, as well as every ethnicity from every walk of life in the sold-out crowd in the UC showed the groups ever lasting forever great legendary legacy and why Chicago has been one of Wu-Tang Clan’s biggest supporters for over three decades and since the very beginning of the group’s history.
The night starting off with the legendary duo, Run the Jewels, who is opening the tour as support for the Wu. A dream come true for Killer Mike and El-P, who like many of us grew up big and avid fans of the legendary and iconic group. Run the Jewels going through several of their upbeat and energetic bangers such as, Legend Has It, Run the Jewels, Blockbuster Night Pt. 1. El-P before their performance of the latter telling the packed United Center crowd how they, “Are honored to be here. We were honored to be asked to do this run with them. And there is only one thing we can do to honor this fvcking moment.” Killer Mike adding, “And that’s burning this stadium to the motherfvcking ground tonight. Lets go guys.” And the crowd erupting after that as Mike demanded, “Chicago make some noise!” Before declaring, “I love this fvcking city.” As Run the Jewels along with Trackstar the DJ proceeded to burn down the stage with all the energy brought along with them as they performed Blockbuster Night Pt. 1, Oh My Darling Don’t Cry, 36” Chain, Lie, Cheat, Steal and ohh la la. Before they got the sold-out UC crowd moving back-and-forth and bringing all the energy as they rapped along with Killer Mike and El-P to Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fvck) and Angel Duster. El-P actually spinning like part of the chorus to the latter said as Killer Mike asked the crowd, “Where are all the Run the Jewels fans at?” El-P adding, “We would like to thank you all for coming out tonight and enjoying a, Run the Jewels, set. Campaign for Wu-Tang Clan.” The way that Mike and El-P along with Trackstarr the DJ brought all the energy and really burned the house with their performance. Showing why they are not only one of the greatest live Hip-Hop performers ever, but among the best ever in music and why they are the perfect choice as opening support for Wu-Tang Clan’s current tour. Their performance also showing how much love not only Chicago has for Run the Jewels over the last decade-plus, but how much love that Killer Mike, El-P and Trackstar have for the city as an almost second city home for them over the years.
After a brief intermission at the United Center and after the stage was all set up with Wu-Tang Clan’s backing live band. The crowd would erupt in cheers knowing what they all mainly came to see, Wu-Tang, would be taking the stage. Defacto leader and one of the founders of the group, RZA, coming in an all white outfit and bedazzled Yankees fitted cap on stage after an intro from the band. Letting the crowd know, “My name is RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan. Let me feel your energy.” The crowd screaming aloud and to screams of, “Yeah!” As RZA onstage opened his hand to the side of his ear, as he was listening. RZA then saying, “Let me talk to you a second y’all.” As with a beam of the Wu-Tang Clan logo shining like sunlight on the screen on stage in back of him while he performed his solo track, Sunlight, from the groups album, 8 Diagrams. RZA then segueing into and bringing the energy really up as he rapped/sang the chorus of Wu-Tang Clan’s classic track, Bring da Ruckus, that everyone in the crowd really rapped and sang loudly along to. Erupting even more when he brought out Ghostface Killah, who was decked in a red Wu-Tang Clan sweatshirt with black jeans and matching red Yankees fitted to kill his classic verses from the track and Raekwon in a black Wu-Tang Clan t-shirt with cameo shorts, some type of limited edition Yankees and black and red Jordan 4 bred’s, coming out not long after that to perform his classic verses from the track. Inspectah Deck and GZA coming out after that as they then performed Clan In Da Front. That they got everyone in the sold-out United Center crowd stomping and rapping along to. Before U-God then came out to kill his stellar memorable opening verses on, Da Mystery of Chessboxin’, and the late great Ol’ Dirty Bastard of the Wu-Tang Clan’s oldest son, Young Dirty Bastard, came out to perform his Dad’s verses with all the energy and wildness his late pops used to. Method Man then coming to perform the chorus and the group really bringing the energy and electricity even more in the UC as they then performed their classic single, Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing ta Fvck Wit. That everyone in the crowd really rapped and sang with such energy along to right before Method Man then went into, Method Man. Meth so easily then transitioning into the classic, Shame On a N***a with YDB. Before going right into, Protect Ya Neck.
An intermission happening with a video of the trailer of RZA’s upcoming new movie, One Spoon of Chocolate, starring Shameik Moore, then playing on screen onstage. Raekwon would say this was for all those locked up before going into his classic mafioso masterpiece, Incarcerated Scarfaces. That shows why bar-for-bar Rae is still one of the best emcees and lyricist’s since Wu-Tang Clan started over three decades ago and he put out his classic debut solo album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Which is coming up on its 30th Anniversary in the coming weeks. Cappadonna, Rae and Ghost along with Method Man then going into The Chef’s classic OB4CL single, Ice Cream. Before Meth then went into his classic single, Bring the Pain, which he brought longtime Wu-Tang affiliate, Streetlife out for. Mef slowing things down as he went into his very timeless and classic Mary J. Blige featured single, I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need to Get By. Really getting the ladies and women in the sold-out United Center crowd going as he lifted his shirt and showed his abs from being so fit from working out and staying in shape all the time.
After another brief intermission just GZA in an all white outfit with beige Wallys and RZA in a grey leather Wu-Tang Forever jacket that had Wu-Tang Forever in red and matching red pants with matching red Yankees snap back would come out to start Act 3 with GZA’s classic title track, Liquid Swords, from his critically-acclaimed album of the same name. Inspectah Deck decked in a Black Chicago White Sox Southside Bo Jackson city connect jersey then coming back out with Masta Killa to perform the lyrically sharp Liquid Swords collaboration, Dual of the Iron Mics. RZA then coming back to try to get the energy back up before U-God in an all-white matching zip-top and shorts with glasses and Air Force One’s came out to compose the crowd before going into his classic verse and hook for Wu-Tang Clan’s classic single, Gravel Pit. That the whole crowd stepped and rapped and sang to the groove along with Golden Arms. Showing why U-God is so loved here in Chicago over the year’s as one of the more underappreciated members of the group. The stage would then be cleared as RZA gave a short speech about how so many in their neighborhood’s were always on the run. Before appropriately then bringing Cappadonna back out to perform his classic single, Run, from his critically-acclaimed debut solo album, The Pillage. RZA then going to the front of the stage to give a brief speech about how, “They try to regulate education. But wouldn’t regulate guns to stop school shootings. But what the fvck do we know, right? We are just rapper’s. Man help me out. There’s a story I got to tell you. Hit the peace signs like this and follow me. It goes from side to side, side to side, side to side, side to side, side to side.” Everyone in the sold-out UC crowd waving their peace signs from side to side like RZA said. As he then with U-God and Cappadonna behind him went into Wu-Tang Clan’s classic record, Tearz.
After one brief final intermission before Act 4, all of the members except for RZA an GZA would start to come back out to stage as a violin solo played. That have everyone in the sold-out United Center crowd rapping and singing along with such ease and joy to Method Man’s classic chorus and Raekwon and Inspectah Deck’s classic memorable verses. Wu-Tang Clan then triumphantly closing out the very classic and legendary show with, Triumph. As YDB did the intro from his pops, ODB and then Deck went into his classic opening verses before each member from Method Man to Cappadonna, U-God, RZA, GZA, Masta Killa, Ghostface Killah and finally Raekwon all went into their own stellar verses from the classic Wu-Tang Forever single. RZA then spraying champagne at the end and Raekwon telling the crowd, “Chi-Town make some noise.” As RZA threw up the W Wu-Tang in the air and everyone in the crowd followed suit. RZA saying, “Chicago, beautiful.” As the crowd chanted, “Wu-Tang, Wu-Tang!” Rae remarking, “Oh sh-*t hear y’all go with this sh*t. Two more hours, huh?” Method Man then saying, “Can I get a, Suuuuuuuu?!” Everyone in the crowd responding with a, “Suuuuuuuuu!” Before RZA then said, “Chicago, Illinois one more time. Show your love for the Wu-Tang Clan. It took a lot of us our personal time and our professional time to come back together all as one family and do this tour. But the main reason why we did it is so we could circle back one more time around the world and say, ‘Thank you to all of our fans who supported us.’ RZA adding, “So Chicago for 30 years of support, thank you.” Raekwon also adding, “Y’all always respected us. Always. Likewise.” RZA then also adding, “So on behalf of Run the Jewels, the RZA, the GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Raekwon the Chef, Ghostface Killah, Masta Killa, Streetlife, Allah Mathematics, our DJ, Blue Raspberry on vocals, the Young Dirty Bastard, Cappadonna the great, the band, Stone Mecca, and the M-E-Th-O-D Man. We want to say thank y’all. Yo. We came in peace. We going to leave in peace. Put the peace sign up in the air like this. One, two, three, peace. One, two, three, peace. One, two, three, peace. One, two, three, peace. One, two, three, peace.”
