T.I. Won’t Be Charged For Drug Arrest and is Dropped From Remy Martin Cognac

According to TMZ , the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the drug charge from T.I.’s arrest last month. Apparently, there’s technicalities regarding probable cause. Tip will still have to do jail time since the arrest was in violation of his probation. Lucky break, nonetheless. Mr. Harris is expected to turn himself in on Nov 1 to begin his 11 month sentence.

In related news, four months after being named the new spokesman for Remy Martin, Rap Radar has reported that the cognac maker has severed ties with the rapper.

Sometimes the “road to redemption” is a difficult path. Regrettably, we will not be able to continue collaborating with T.I. at this time.  We wish T.I. well and hope he will devote his time and energy to staying the course.

Last Tuesday, Rap Radar also reported that AXE body spray dropped Tip from their latest promotional campaign.
