Che Noir Delivers Beautifully Cinematic New Video/Single, New Beginning feat. Son Little, Releases New EP

Che Noir continues to show why she is not only one of the best female emcees alive, but one of the best emcees in all of Hip-Hop now and for the past several years with her just released brand new EP, The Color Chocolate 2. That is the followup to her, The Color Chocolate, Vol. 1 – EP, she dropped in January of last year. 8 new tracks that includes previously released singles, Who’s the Greatest with Elzhi and Blink Twice. It is some of Che’s most personal, honest and thought-provoking work to date.

The beautifully cinematic new Luqman-directed video for the just as beautifully soulful motivational closing track, New Beginning featuring Son Little, that Che Noir debuted yesterday through Vevo to coincide with and celebrate the release of the new EP yesterday, the perfect example of all of those elements. As it finds Che in a forest setting during both the day and night. While she spits her very motivational and thought-provoking lyrics such as, “Since my birth it’s hard to say if I was destined for greatness. With all of the sh*t I been through I ain’t expect us to make it. I lost hope and fond words to help. Inspired a lost herd, ‘Cause the greatest gift a woman can give is a child’s birth. I wrote a three page letter. I was conceived within the belly of the beast by some teenaged rebels. My mother birth a queen that grew up to be a legend. On the road doing shows I blew up to bring a blessing. But I starve peace and I feed stress. Gave ‘em food for thought. It is spoiled now, so I think less. Decisions I regret. Working like a dog, surviving off of the catnaps. Now so I dream less. My goal is to drink less.” The beautifully cinematic shots of Che throughout the new visual and especially some of the up close ones that Luqman captures really helping bring the record even more to life through Che’s just as beautiful storytelling. Along with Son Little’s just as soulfully motivational hook too.
