Kota the Friend continues to show why he is among Hip-Hop’s most talented and consistent young emcees with his fun new single, Cozy Girls. That he released yesterday as the latest new music off his upcoming highly-anticipated new solo album, No Rap on Sunday and follows previously released single, MICHIGAN featuring Big Sean.
Cozy Girls is a very fun and smooth new record where Kota raps about all the cozy and fun things his woman would rather do at home compared to going out which most other women would do. Very talented singer and songwriter, Liana Banks, who has previously written songs for everyone from Bebe Rexha to Queen Naija, Ari Lennox, Doja Cat and Saweetie. Also featured on the record to give the female perspective with a very nice and smooth guest verse of her own, as well as singing with Kota on the chorus.
Kota the Friend also debuting yesterday a comfy and fun new accompanying video for the record. Which sees him comfy sitting down on the floor in his living room with Liana lying down on the couch right next time reading a book. As well as them both doing the same in their bed. Plus just sitting at the table of their kitchen. While they both rap their fun and smooth verses and both also sing the very simple, yet fun chorus to the song.
