Joy Crookes Delivers Triumphant New Video/Single, Pass The Salt feat. Vince Staples

Very talented upcoming British soul singer and songwriter, Joy Crookes, is starting 2025 off with her triumphant return in new single, Pass the Salt. A very triumphant production that with its demanding bass finds the two-time BRIT nominee singing about another woman she vaguely knew that tried to cross Joy. So she responded to her in musical form to get things off her chest.

Joy Crookes having the following to say in a statement about the song which also features a really solid guest verse from Vince Staples. “Pass the Salt is about a woman I know vaguely, who is nothing short of an arsehole, who got jealous and started spreading rumours about me. The song is basically me squaring up (musically) and being like ok bitch if u have something to say come say it to my face.”

Joy also debuting earlier today through Vevo. An accompanying Jake Erland-directed video for the record. That is just Joy Crookes by herself in the same very stunning black and white striped dress with matching black heels she’s wearing for the singles cover art and a few other stunning outfits ranging from an all white long fur coat to a shimmering black dress doing a bunch of crazy and wild things. Such as sitting on top of a man who’s stationed underneath her like a chair to dancing and smoking a cigarette from a candle she’s sitting by. As well as a few other crazy things while performing the track.
