Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are out to have fun and prove why they are such not only Hip-Hop, but culturally global icons with their explosive new short film, Missionary. That is a very cleverly shot, written, cast and short story visual narrated by fellow Hip-Hop and global entertainment icon, Method Man. That shows once again why like the latter, Snoop and Dre are also not only such iconic Hip-Hop pioneering figures, but overall great entertainers as well.
The explosive new short film the perfect complementary piece to Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre’s just also earlier today released highly-anticipated new album, Missionary. That will get even more eyes on the dynamic and iconic duo’s new album. Which is 16 new tracks and features everyone from such musical icons as Sting and the late great Tom Petty to BJ the Chicago Kid, Jhené Aiko, Alus, Jelly Roll, Method Man, 50 Cent, Eminem, Smitty, Cocoa Sarai, Fat Money and K.A.A.N. As well as a few others. That also includes previously released singles Another Part of Me featuring Sting, Outta Da Blue featuring Alus and Gorgeous featuring the great Jhené Aiko. The new album from Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre a full circle moment in several ways too. As it is not only Snoop’s first fully produced Dre album since his groundbreaking and classic 1993 debut album, Doggystyle, was released just a little over 30 years ago through the iconic Death Row Records, but also the first album to be released through Death Row, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. Plus it is Snoop Dogg’s first album to be released under both Death Row and Interscope since Doggystyle.
