After a long delay and huge anticipation it appears that legendary and iconic emcee, Redman, is getting ready to finally release his long-awaited and highly-anticipated newest solo album, Muddy Waters Too. The long talked about sequel to his critically-acclaimed and groundbreaking third solo album, Muddy Waters.
Redman debuts the first video for said album with the fun new clip that he and Rock Davis co-directed for the very funky smooth stellar new single, Don’t Wanna C Me Rich. A funky Reggie Noble and Dez the Producer co-produced jam that utilizes that funky break from some classic 90’s Hip-Hop. Redman in the streets and public transportation of his New Jersey hometown as well as having fun with homies in a supermarket. While rapping his classic old school flow and cleverly catchy, yet dope lyrics such as, “Generational. You wanna end the wealth. Save your money more. Less Gucci on the belt. (That’s right!) Swim high. Motivate for Mike Phelps.”
The new single comes on the heels of Redman dropping several freestyle tracks over the past few weeks too. That really lets us know that, Muddy Waters Too, after its long delay in release. Is on the verge of actually really being released sometime soon and probably when wouldn’t expect it to.
