Ransom & V Don Debut Cinematically Dark & Chilling New Video, Nefarious

Bone chillingly dark, cinematic and real. That is how you can best describe the rapping, storytelling and concept from Ransom on his V Don-produced track, Nefarious. That is the lone solo track and by far not only the best track on Ransom, Conway the Machine & V Don’s recent critically-acclaimed collaboration project, Chaos Is My Ladder 2. But also one of the best Hip-Hop or really tracks released across all music here in 2024. So it’s only right it gets a music video for it too.

Ransom & V Don returning to said track today by just a few short hours ago debuting through Vevo a cinematically dark and chilling new G Town-directed video for the track. That sees Ransom in an all black Champion hoodie in a church pew with a devil like figure. Rapping his very crazy and conceptually great raps from the perspective of himself and switching up his voice to sound like the devil. Like he is having a conversation with the devil. The very bone chillingly dark, cinematic and real vibes of the track brought to life even more through the just as cinematically dark and chilling visuals that make it feel like you are watching a mini-movie.

The way lines like, “I got a couple questions and the last one that I ask is tough. Can you walk around in a human’s body and interact with us? Can you corrupt the mind of a righteous man if his path is just? Do you have opposition? If so, is it God backing us or do you all laugh at us? Is anything miraculous? Was 2020 the last of us?” Are brought even more to life through visuals of Ransom in the pews of the church and the devil like figure being creepily shown behind him and watching over him.
