After a long hiatus from music Westcoast Hip-Hop pioneer and iconic living legend, Ice Cube, has released his brand new E-A-Ski-produced single, It’s My Ego. Off his long-awaited and highly-anticipated upcoming new solo album, Man Down, which is set to release in November.
Ice Cube also debuting a very cinematically fun new Gabriel “VIDEOGOD” Hart-directed accompanying video for the track. That sees Cube everywhere from church as a pastor to a funeral as a pimp, at a drive-in as the star of his own movie and at his own igloo talking with Mike Epps. His longtime friend and collaborator, WC, making a cameo too. As over the very old school production from his longtime friend and collaborator, E-A-Ski, Ice Cube spits his hilariously real ice cold lyrics. Such as, “Everybody say “drop the attitude”. But y’all shouldn’t worry about what daddy do. Y’all should worry about what kids do. I’m a cold motherfvcker. Get out my igloo. The CEO with a E-G-O. Can pick any flow, eeny, miny, moe. And body you bitches, make y’all religious.”
The video really helping bring the track even more to life and showing why Ice Cube is not only one of the best emcees, but most iconic actors and entertainers ever too.
