Joell Ortiz & The Heatmakerz have released their highly-anticipated new collaboration album, W.A.R. (With All Respect). That is 11 new tracks and has features from everyone from Styles P to Ransom, M.O.P., Phil Collen, I Born, Jeremy Torres, Angel Hill, Poet Ali, Blakk Soul and Bianca Holiday. Which also includes previously released single, Fortune 500.
To celebrate and in conjunction with the release of the album. Joell Ortiz & The Heatmakerz debuted a few short hours ago through Vevo. A brand new A Vision Films-directed accompanying video for the album’s very reflective title track that features Styles P and Poet Ali. That has a just as reflective video which opens with Poet Ali in front of a white screen giving his very reflective opening poem right before it then goes to Joell sitting on his back porch rapping his reflective bars, as old clips of him rapping throughout his career flash by. Footage of Joell Ortiz & The Heatmakerz crafting the track also being shown. Styles P when his verses come up seen performing his own very dope reflective bars in the Juices For Life he owns and co-founded with his D-Block/The LOX groupmate, Jadakiss. Old classic videos of Styles P also flashing by. Bringing both Joell Ortiz and Styles P’s reflectively dope lyrics even more to life.
