Talib Kweli & J. Rawls Debut New Black-and-White Video, For New Single, Breath, Eyes, Memory

We have reached September and that means we are even closer to Talib Kweli & J. Rawls releasing their highly-anticipated collaboration album, The Confidence of Knowing. Exactly a week from today on Sept. 13th. So the duo just debuted a brand new single, Breath, Eyes, Memory along with an accompanying new black-and-white video.

Collaborations sees Kweli over the smooth soul-sampled drums production of J. Rawls showing why he is still one of the best emcees and lyricists not only now, but ever. Bars such as, “Let me peel back the layers. Y’all only here for the greatness. I ain’t here to be your savior. You should save them tears for later. Now let’s be clear. I wasn’t supposed to be here. I am from the future, like DeLereon. But ancient as Gregorian calendars with the leap years.” That once again shows Talib Kweli & J. Rawls undeniably great chemistry together too and why their collaboration album dropping a week from today on Friday the 13th is so highly-anticipated.
