Two of Chicago’s very best of the young crop of great emcees and rappers to emerge over the last decade, Chance the Rapper and Joey Purp, are back together again. With their newest single, Bad Boys 2. An absolute banger that is the latest in a long line of already great collaborations between the two longtime friends and collaborators. Who are also both apart of the legendary Chicago Hip-Hop, SAVEMONEY, crew that they both helped find with Vic Mensa over a decade ago.

The track also getting a very cinematically luxurious accompanying video that was debuted through Vevo earlier today. That finds both Chance and Joey over the very triumphant production from DEX LVL popping their sh*t on a luxury yacht in the Chicago River and Lake Michigan during Summertime Chi. As well as cruising down Lake Shore and downtown with the top down in a Lamborghini. Which Joey raps about with such bars as, “I’ve been way too Tee’d to ever let one of these bitch n***as play with me. Stay out the way with me, it get hot like a block on a day when it’s 80 degrees. Chop off the top on the Lamb’, it was me and Chance, was in Miami like the Heat. Chop off the top on a Lamb’, it was me and Chance, was in Miami like Bam.” While Chance adds such standout bars as, “I’m slidin’ through Chicago. Now we drive the boat, but when we came here, we was cargo. A wise man told me me “Follow anywhere the star go”. So I’m in that double R, it’s blacker than some charcoal. Open up the side doors and scan you like a barcode.”
