Scarface Delivers Beautifully Transcendent & Joyously Stunning New Debut Tiny Desk Performance

Tiny Desk has always been among the more popular live concert performance platforms. That has had some really talented artists bless their infamous Tiny Desk headquarters studio in Washington, D.C. Over the years. Everyone from such legendary artists as Wu-Tang Clan, Rakim, Usher, Tank, Babyface and Charlie Wilson. As well as upcoming great artists such as Snoh Aalegra, Jessie Reyez, Ravyn Lenae, Jorja Smith, Ab-Soul and WESTSIDE BOOGIE. Have been among some of the more notable of many to bless the very popular platform.

Many among those said names delivering some of the best ever Tiny Desk performances. Some even debut performances. But this newest and final Tiny Desk performance of 2023 is one not many probably thought would ever happen. With one of the dopest emcees and lyricist’s to ever touch a mic, Scarface, making his debut Tiny Desk Performance. That was premiered earlier today through NPR Music.

Face himself curating his set by not only showing his status as a great emcee, but his status as a great producer and musician skilled at the guitar. Bringing his guitar along with him and fellow legend and iconic Hip-Hop figure, Mike Dean, who played on the keys. Plus incredible backing band, The Backyard Band and amazing vocalists behind him. To help him give a very beautifully transcendent and joyously stunning 30-minute performance of some of his most classic tracks ranging from his decades-long catalog both solo and with the Geto Boys. Such as On My Block, Mary Jane, Smile, I Seen a Man Die, F*** Faces and Mind Playing Tricks on Me.

The stories from Face and Mike Dean in between a few songs adding a true authentic and sentimental feel. For what is not only one of the best Hip-Hop, but arguably even the best ever Tiny Desk performance.
