If you were not already up on beautifully talented Chicago singer and songwriter, Ravyn Lenae, by now. You should be. Dropping not only one of the best R&B/Soul albums so far this year, but one of the best albums across all music so far here in 2022. With her recently long-awaited and highly-anticipated debut album, HYPNOS. Lenae, with her simple, yet magically divine and angelic vocals. Has continually showed why she’s not only one of the most talented growing voices in R&B/Soul right now. But one of the most talented vocalists and singers in all of music right now.

Fans continuously clamoring for years to make her debut Tiny Desk Performance. Today they finally get what they want with. As NPR Music debuted earlier today Lenae’s first performance with the platform. That is not only her debut Tiny Desk, but the platforms first performance. Back in the infamous Tiny Desk headquarters studio in months. Lenae’s very raw and unamplified vocals/voice with her very dynamic backing band. Delivering such a beautifully mesmerizing and futuristic nearly 16-minutes performance of stripped-down versions of her records Venom, Skin Tight, Inside Out, Sticky. That truly turned the Tiny Desk office into a very funky and futuristic out of this world space. Where Ravyn was completely in her element. Turning in what is by far one of the best and more memorable performances of Tiny Desk’s short, yet already great history.
