Snoop Dogg is celebrating 4/20 by releasing today his newest solo album, From tha Streets 2 tha Suites. His 18th solo album and first since he released, Thank Me Later, nearly 18 months ago.
The new album is only 10 tracks. With features ranging from ProHoeZak to Mozzy, Devin The Dude, Larry June, Kokane, J Black, Tha Eastsidaz, Big Tray Deee, and Goldie Loc.
Snoop celebrates the release of the new album today. By also debuting the nostalgic new Dah Dah-directed video for, Look Around featuring J Black. That sees Snoop as he goes through his vinyl collection. Recreating covers of classics such as Ice Cube’s AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted and Death Certificate, as well as Ice-T’s, Power, Too $hort’s, Life Is…Too Short, LL Cool J’s, Radio, and King T’s Act A Fool. Among several of the classic Hip-Hop albums he grew up on and influenced his sound. That you can especially hear on this Nottz-produced track. Which is why the nostalgic recreating of those album covers for this video was such a dope concept to bring the track to life even more.
