Kota the Friend is easily one of the more talented emcees to emerge over the past several years. That had us highlighting him back in 2019 for one our always very popular New Artist Spotlight features. Since that point he has released two pretty solid albums, as well as two EP’s.
Well today Kota returns again. As the Brooklyn-bred emcee has delivered a new collaboration album with very touted producer, Statik Selektah. Entitled, To Kill a Sunrise. The new album is short and to the point with just 10 tracks and a lone feature from Haile Supreme. You can check it out below and see not only why Kota has become such a highly regarded emcee.
